"Monalisa" explained why it was not out of place for the guild to pay a courtesy visit to one of its members who just welcomed a child.

doubt a very big and thriving one. “The film industry also has an actor’s guild
where members are said to have some benefits among other things.”
“Recently, the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), led by “Emeka Rollas”, paid a courtesy visit to one of its members, “Regina Daniels”, after she welcomed a
child.’ – “This did not go down well with another actress, “Kemi Lala Akindoju”, who called them
out on social media and described them as being shameless, “Lala’s” assertion has however drawn a
reply from another Nollywood actress and the director of communications of the
guild, “Monalisa Chinda”.
She shared a lengthy note on her Instagram
page, called out “Lala” and also
stated reasons why visiting one of their members who welcomed a child was not
out of place.
“Monalisa” stated that visiting “Regina Daniels” was significant
because she was a member of the guild and that she also reached out to them
personally to share the good news of her child’s birth.”
“Monalisa Chinda” lambastes “Lala” for calling Actors Guild of
Nigeria (AGN) shameless after they visited “Regina
Daniels”.

“The veteran actress also stated that “Regina’s” mother, “Rita Daniels”, is the vice president of the south-south arm of the
guild and that the actress’ husband, “Ned
Nwoko”, is the current chairman of the National Board of Patrons of the
Actors Guild of Nigeria.”
